I’m the Marketing Manager of 300 North, working to grow the exposure of the business and create great content for the FM sector. I love using social media to build a brand and tell a story, as well as share our knowledge with our audience.
Tell Us About Your Professional Background
As 300 North’s Marketing Manager I’m really excited to be leading the comms for the business. Before this I worked at a Marketing Agency in Leeds and for the International Medieval Congress at the University of Leeds after graduating from Leeds with a degree in Classical Literature and English.
What Do You Like Doing Outside Of Work?
I love spending time with my family and friends. At home I love time to myself doing crafts and listening to podcasts.
Tell Us Something About Yourself That People Won't Know
I have a lot of good quiz knowledge about Harry Potter and I can name some really obscure Harry Potter characters if called upon to do so. Luckily, this doesn’t come up very often!
If You Won The Lottery What Would You Buy?
If I won the lottery I would buy a large house somewhere remote with lots of land so I could always be close to nature and have as many dogs as I want.
Poor equality and diversity in any organisation has been shown to negatively affect the bottom line. Not only can poor diversity affect customer perception and lead to boycotts and negative press or social media [presence] around your brand, it can also put off potential hires, who don’t want to be seen to be working for a homogenous company. People see diverse workplaces as being safer and more welcoming for them, and as a place where they can fit in more readily.
