We are recruiting for an electrical engineer at a national sized FM business who are looking for an electrician for PPM and reactive work, replacing lamping, electrical fittings, emergency lighting and AHU maintenance. Contracts include retail, leisure and food outlets.
Duties of the role include:
- Electrical PPM and reactive work.
- Working to all policies and procedures concerning health and safety
- Ability to work independently
- Working on an on-call rota 1 in 6
The ideal candidate must have:
- City & Guilds Parts 1 and 2 (Electrical Installation 2360) or recognised equivalent
- 17th Edition Institute of Electrical Engineers (I.E.E) Registration or recognised equivalent; or
- Electrical Apprenticeship - gained within the building maintenance industry; and
- Health and Safety Training; and
- Experience with similar maintenance duties including fault diagnosis, rectification.
- Experience in the Electrical aspects of general building PPM schedules
- Experienced in electrical installation work, plus electrical testing and inspection
