Audit maintenance activities, PPM regimes, asset records, commissioning information and compliance documentation.
Provide technical guidance throughout the development and delivery of lifecycle and capital replacement projects.

Support the safe integration of new and replacement systems within a live hospital environment.
Ensure lifecycle works consider clinical operations and minimise disruption to critical services.
Technically assure commissioning and project handover.
Maintain accurate lifecycle and asset-condition data.
Develop lifecycle plans identifying asset condition, replacement priorities and programme requirements.
What We’re Looking For
We are particularly interested in technically strong M&E/building services professionals who have spent a significant part of their career working with complex engineering assets in critical environments.
You should have:
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services, with an understanding of building fabric.
Technical management experience within a large, complex estate.
Experience within healthcare, PFI or another critical engineering environment.
Experience auditing PPM, maintenance activity, technical documentation and compliance records.
Good understanding of asset lifecycle management and planned replacement strategies.
In-depth knowledge of HTMs and HBNs.
Strong understanding of statutory compliance and engineering governance.
You should also have held Authorised Person (AP) responsibilities/qualifications within at least one relevant critical discipline, such as High Voltage, Ventilation, Water or another critical healthcare engineering system.
Why Consider This Role?
This position sits at the heart of engineering, compliance, maintenance, asset management and lifecycle investment.
You’ll work across a varied and technically challenging hospital estate, where legacy infrastructure and modern clinical environments must operate safely together 24/7.
