Technical Service Manager
We are recruiting for a Technical Service Manager for a large Facilities Management organisation to be based in Manchester
- Permanent full-time role
- Salary £55,000 + Car/ car allowance
- Location: Manchester
- Facilities Management contract
- Electrical qualified with good BMS knowledge
As a Technical Services Manager (TSM) you will be Focused on the delivery objectives of initiating and driving best business practice to improve customer service, efficiency and reduce costs.
The Technical Services Manager will lead the development and awareness of the delivery teams in engineering services, build relationships with engineering staff and other members of the site teams delivering first class customer service to clients, employees, visitors and the wider delivery team.
Duties include:
- Line Management of a engineers and Supervisor on a Facilities Management contract
- Review of engineering delivery structure – including internal and external resources
- Delivery of engineering-based cost saving initiatives and engineering compliance across the account
- Implement critical site and critical asset management processes as required across account.
- Ownership of the asset strategy including the delivery of forward maintenance plan
- Ensure all maintenance is carried out in line with Facilities Management SFG0 planned maintenance programme
Qualifications/ Experience:
- 5 Years + Experience of engineering management on a facilities managment contract
- Preferably from an Electrical background with good BMS knowledge system controlling a CHP, Heat Recover System and Absorption chiller.
- Proven management experience in similar environments with evidence of a customer service led approach within large and complex properties.
- Appropriate qualification and demonstrable experience in a mechanical/electrical/HVAC discipline, ideally qualified professional membership
- Experience in developing integrated engineering strategies in line with Client objectives
- IT literate with knowledge of Microsoft applications and information management system.
- IOSH/NEBOSH General Certificate or similar
- Knowledge of Environmental Aspects and Impacts
- Financial management including budgeting and forecasting
- Flexible approach to working hours and travel
