Fire Safety Programme Manager
Location: Hybrid (Nationwide Travel Required)
Contract: Fixed-Term Contract or Day Rate | Potential to Become Permanent
Clearance: BPSS (or ability to obtain)
300 North are seeking an experienced Fire Safety Programme Manager to lead a high-profile, national passive fire protection improvement programme for a high value and high visibility client.
In this critical role, you will oversee the delivery of fire safety works from RIBA Stages 1 through 7, ensuring seamless handover to operational teams. This is a hybrid position, with a mix of remote working and nationwide site visits as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate the full lifecycle of passive fire safety works across multiple sites.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure compliance, safety, and programme success.
- Provide expert programme management, ensuring milestones, budgets, and risk management strategies are met.
- Prepare and deliver regular updates to senior leadership and client teams.
- Ensure all works adhere to relevant fire safety regulations, building standards, and government requirements.
- Take full control to lead the large scale roll out of passive fire protection upgrade works for a high level client overseeing RIBA stages 1-7 before handing to operations teams.
About You:
- Proven track record managing large-scale fire safety programmes.
- Strong knowledge of passive fire protection systems and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience managing projects through RIBA Plan of Work (Stages 1-7).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Eligible for BPSS clearance (or already cleared).
- Membership to the Institute of Fire Safety Managers (MIFSM) or Membership to the Institute of Fire Engineers (MIFireE) would be beneficial.
