- Site based - (parking is available on-site)

Our client, a leading Building Services provider, is currently seeking an experienced Fabric Engineer to join their site-based team in Manchester.
The role is to provide reactive and planned preventative Fabric maintenance for a specific office-based contract. Our client has 10 office blocks located within easy walking distance to one another and the role will cover all the office sites.
Purpose and objectives of the role
The Site Fabric Engineer will be responsible for assisting in the operation, repair, and maintenance of multiple buildings within a large multi purpose estate in Manchester City Centre.
Main duties and responsibilities and person specification
- Time-served Fabric engineer with a maintenance background.
- Background in building maintenance.
- Works will include basic plumbing, handy man works including Carpentry, plastering, decorating or equivalent.
- Fire alarm tests and emergency light flick tests
- Water temperatures and flushing
- Strong, demonstrable competencies in building services trades
- Good customer service skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- An excellent understanding of Health and Safety.
- Competent in the use of computers and data handling including Microsoft Office systems.
