Description

Technical Facilities Coordinator 

We have a fantastic opportunity for a facilities  Maintenance Supervisor to supervise to manage a team of Electrical and mechanical maintenance staff who carry out  planned and reactive maintenance services across the contract.

  • £28000 + 47 days holiday (inclusive of stats) + pension
  • Permanent (will also consider temp to perm if immediately available)
  • Barnsley
  • Facilities Management Contract

This is an excellent opportunity for someone form a engineering background who wants to come off the tools. It is an office based role and covers a variety of roles.

Duties


  • Line management of multi-skilled team
  • Plan and schedule reactive and maintenance jobs in ensuring roles are prioritised to relevant engineer/trade
  • To manage reactive maintenance jobs on the estate and ensuring jobs are logged and allocated to the appropriate internal maintenance team member with the appropriate priority level
  • To monitor reactive jobs response and resolution times to ensure they are meeting agreed performance targets
  • To manage planned maintenance jobs ensuring they are undertaken in a timely fashion by the internal maintenance team or via external contractors
  • To procure and manage external contractors to undertake planned maintenance not carried out in house
  • To oversee and manage the quality of work undertaken by both in house staff and external contractors
  • To obtain and respond to feedback from customers and seek to continuously improve the level of service provided by the maintenance team
  • To undertake line management of staff within the section (setting and managing performance targets, undertaking appraisals, managing absences and leave)
  • To assist the maintenance team undertaking work team as and when required

Qualifications/requirements


  • Candidates must have an electrical/mechanical qualification/background
  • Previous management experience on a facilities management contract
