- 37.5 Hours per week guaranteed (£35,217 P.A.)
- Potential earnings with O/T £45k
- Core hours are Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 16:00
- Overtime as available (Daily hours over 7.5 paid at time and a half)

Our client is a Building Services specialist and is currently seeking an experienced Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer to cover service, maintenance, and reactive work. This role will mainly cover their client's warehouses, offices, and retail premises, dealing with various commercial and domestic heating systems boilers, burners, warm air heaters, etc. Candidate requirements:
- Gas Safety Registered/ Commercial Gas safe registered Have a clean Valid UK driver's license
- Have both Commercial Gas qualifications and domestic gas qualifications
- IPAF/ PASMA is also essential due to servicing requirements for high level warehouse gas radiant heaters.
- Have good communication skills, oral and written skills
- Be available to work away as there is a requirement to be away from home sometimes to complete required service visits.
- Be on the on-call rota covering both nights and weekends (call-out fees and premium rates of pay apply).
- Must have the following qualifications: COCN1 CDGA1 CIGA1 CORT1 ICPN1 TPCP1 and TPCP1A CCN1, CEN1, CPA1, CKR1 & CENWAT1 G3 - Unvented Hot Water Heaters IPAF PASMA
Responsibilities, Duties & Requirements:
- Must be Punctual and have excellent time-keeping skills.
- Can work alone as well as within a team in line with daily requirements. Importantly report effectively, verbally, and via electronic means.
- Carry out annual services and scheduled maintenance visits to a high standard in accordance with Health & Safety procedures.
- Completion of the required Gas Safety Certificates and/or any other relevant documents upon completion of any works.
- Installation of new Heating and Hot Water systems.
- Troubleshoot, Diagnose, identify, and rectify faults to equipment and systems to a variety of different manufacturers makes and types of equipment.
- Identifying parts and materials with suppliers and contacting manufacturers to query technical faults, warranties etc.
- Attend to maintenance and reactive calls to plumbing jobs as may be required. Be an excellent communicator
- Have a high level of customer service and build rapport with customers whilst representing the company to the best of your ability.
- Attend scheduled Training courses when necessary to ensure all skills and qualifications are up to date and to maintain H&S requirements and safe working practices.
- Proven experience in a similar Updating service reports and records and on a PDA in an accurate and timely way
