A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Joiner with BM Trada qualification to join a leading FM company working on University site accomodation in Hatfield, Hertfordshire.

Purpose of the role:

• Installation and maintenance of fire doors to variety of buildings. Joinery maintenance of doors, floors and furniture.

Roles and responsibilities

• Site measurement/assessment for replacement and maintenance of fire doors
• Installation of fire doors in accordance with British Standard regulation and BM Trada Q-Mark scheme
• Maintenance and repairs of fire doors in accordance with BM Trada Q-Mark scheme
• Liaison with client representatives
• Keeping record of installations and maintenance
• Other joinery work required within the building such as floors, doors and furniture

Requirements for the position:

• BM Trada qualification / certification
• Minimum 1 years of experience with fire doors installation and maintenance
• Ability to work within a team and on your own.
• Hardworking, punctual and reliable.
• Be able to provide recent working references.
• Must pass a Criminal Record check (DBS) due to site location.
