Tell Us About Your Professional Background
I have worked in FM recruitment since 2005, joining the industry after completing my English Literature & Linguistics degree. I've recruited within the Technical FM space for over 17 years – through skill shortages, recessions, pandemics - you name it I’ve been around! I’m also a qualified Personal Trainer and worked in a gym for a while training people and taking classes.
What Do You Like Doing Outside Of Work?
I enjoy keeping fit and used to be a dab hand at Muay Thai in my younger years. I also like crochet, plants (house & garden) and am a big film lover. In my spare time I'm learning Spanish and am involved in community youth work.
Tell Us Something About Yourself That People Won't Know
I have had grade 8 in singing since I was 16 so I would say I can hold a tune. I love to smash out a bit of cheeky karaoke. I actually auditioned for X-Factor when I was 26 but was flatly rejected… lucky for the FM sector I say otherwise I’d be a pop star instead of a top recruiter!
If You Won The Lottery What Would You Buy?
A round the world cruise. There’s one I’ve got my eye on already - it’s 4 months onboard and covers places like Bermuda, Bora Bora and Easter Island. Guess I’ll have to start playing the lottery….
