4 x Data Cablers 9-12 month contract
Start date: April 2020
Location: East Kent
Salary: £150-£180 per day Umbrella or LTD plus (8.5 hour days)
Paid digs, paid travel and meal allowance per night.
The Company & Role
Our client is a leading provider of telecoms & data installation projects across the UK. They work with many end clients.
The role would be suited to an established contracting engineer who is happy to work away in East Kent for a period of 9 months minimum on-going. The role is on a very sensitive site and the ideal candidate will have experience with coaxial cable, there will be training for the glanding and terminating side from the company.
The ideal candidate must be able to pass a Counter Terrorism Clearance (CTC)- This can take up to 8 weeks to come back and you will need to attend a meeting prior to starting. You will be paid for your time & travel to do this once you have commenced on site at the end of your first week.
The CTC is a very rigorous background check, any involvement with police, however minor or any immediate family members must be declared before hand. We can then check with the relevant people to check whether it will pass the CTC.
Any training time is also fully paid.
The Person
NVQ level 2 or some relevant qualifications of benefit
The successful candidate must have a strong install side.
CSCS card of benefit
17th edition wiring regs of benefit
Candidate must be organised
Able to read schematic drawings
PASMA (of benefit)
IPAF is essential
Must be able to pass a DBS check
