Account Manager
Glasgow
Salary: up to £60K depending on experience
Our client is looking for an Account Manager to join their business based in Glasgow.
The Role
- To manage the contract team and contract in the most effective manager
- To lead, direct and motivate the contract team to enable contribution to the best of their ability and maximise their potential
- Fully support the Account Director in all aspects of contract delivery and future growth.
- Responsible for the management of the service delivery which meets/exceeds the needs of internal and external customers of the contract.
- To ensure maintenance is carried out in line with budgetary and quality constraints and in line with agreed service levels.
- Develop staff and ensure all have been provided with the mandatory and best practice training required to enable them to have the capability to carry out their roles.
- Ensure financial budgets and commercial/SLA obligations are achieved/exceeded.
- Identify talent management opportunities and develop a succession plan for the Team
- Support the PFI partners with projects, initiatives and site improvements / efficiencies, such as energy procurement and utilisation
- Understand the commercial requirements in relation to the Contract and ensure all areas are delivered, achieving required SLA/KPI targets.
- Responsible for all aspects of Additional Works and associated revenue streams.
- Active monitoring of rectification time in line with KPI and performance levels
- Design and implementation of PPM programme in conjunction with all services supported by the management, ensuring regular visits and inspections.
- Ensure that Lifecycle planning and delivery is achieved.
- Aid the groth of business reputation by improving, standardising and developing the monthly and annual reports for the SPV amd pther stakeholders, demonstrating service compliance with the payment mechanism
- Management of sub contractors.
- Managing a planned preventative maintenance system.
Qualification and Experience
- A minimum of five years post qualification experience working with building services engineering preferably in a PFI/PPP environment.
- Qualified to degree/HND/HNC level in an engineering discipline, with a sound managerial track record for past 5/10 years
- IOSH or equivalent managing Health and Safety
- Preparation of technical reports.
- Facilities Management experience
