We are recruiting for a Commercial Manager to join a leading Facilities Management Organisation near Ely, Cambridgeshire.

General Overview:
As the Commercial Manager on this large Facilities Management Contract you will be responsible for the commercial resource supporting the operational team and providing contract commercial management services and profit improvement along with a large focus on compliance.
Duties
- Manage numerous senior stakeholder relationships delivering the commercial management function across the partnerships / contracts
- Communicating the obligations and liabilities contained within the contracts to ultimately ensure that income is maximised, costs are minimised
- Identifying, monitoring and reporting on risks
- Supporting the management and mitigation of risks at all levels (operational, financial, commercial, technical, etc).
- Improving the financial performance of the contract
- Management of variation/change control to capture revenue
- Ensure the requirements of the contract and the companies own internal governance processes are complied with
- Enforcing commercial compliance
- Manging contractual claims / disputes with clients and other third-parties
- Participating in the contract extension bid
Qualifications/Requirements
- Commercial experience within Facilities Management
- Sound understanding of risk analysis/management
- Educated to degree/ diploma level in either Law, Surveying (Building/Quantity) or Facilities Management
- Understanding of base UK law applicable to Commercial (Construction Act etc).
- Member or training to be member of a chartered institution.
- Excellent financial acumen
- Skilled negotiator with proven experience in a commercial environment
- Thorough knowledge and experience of Business Assurance systems.
