Description

Reactive Maintenance Manager

We are recruiting for a Maintenance Manager to work on an Education Facilities Management contract on a large Estate in Leeds.

As the Operations Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for delivering the mechanical and electrical building services maintenance and minor works services on the Estate. And ensuring the planned maintenance, alteration, refurbishment and new works are carried out effectively and efficiently.

Duties


  • Deliver the building services engineering reactive maintenance function
  • Budget Management to achieve performance and quality targets
  • Provide professional advice regarding all building services reactive maintenance issues.
  • Ensuring compliance with all building services maintenance related statutory responsibilities
  • Be responsible for the day to day management and operation of the building (energy) management systems and controls
  • Update the Asset Management information
  • Ensure tthe building services reactive maintenance is appropriately managed and delivered within agreed time, cost and quality parameters
  • Contributing to the overall delivery of maintenance and minor works programmes
  • Investigate maintenance problems and defects and to initiate and prioritise remedial work utilising internal or external resource to optimum efficiency.
  • Provide specialist building services engineering support and advice to the maintenance services team, including the in-house trade team
  • Work proactively with colleagues throughout the department to resolve maintenance and operational issues
  • Monitor and analyse maintenance activity to inform future maintenance planning
  • Maintain appropriate inspection and testing registers for reactive maintenance work

Qualifications/Requirements


  • Mechanical Qualified preferred but can also be Electrical Qualified
  • Must be HNC or HND Qualified
  • Previous experience working on a facilities management contract on a large estate
  • Experience within Project Management
  • Strong working knowledge of building services maintenance management
  • Working knowledge of using CAFM (Computer aided facilities management) systems or maintenance management systems
