Description

300North are looking to recruit a Residential Construction Manager for our large blue chip housing client. 

Our client is a national house builder who have a requirement for an experienced Construction Manager to join their South Yorkshire office. 


The company are an established builder who operate across the UK specialising in new build properties ranging from homes for first time buyers to family homes. Owing to planned growth they have a requirement for an experienced Contracts Manager to join their production team. 

The Role - Construction Manager 

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will have a wide and varied role which will include:


  • Planning & Reporting
  • Overseeing the tender process
  • Construction supervision and monitoring
  • Landowner relations
  • Fault/snagging rectification and negotiation
  • Board reporting Duties & Accountabilities
  • Review and drive project delivery within a timely manner to ensure maximum outcomes • Be accountable for all costs and controls across multiple projects, and for the implementation and compliance with all of our clients' safety requirements across staff, contractors, and work practices, ensuring appropriate records are maintained and required reports are available
  • Ensure quality is at a consistently high level and proactively identify quality issues
  • Be able to implement and recognise safe behaviours and practices 
  • Provide expert advice and manage large project sustainability objectives and targets, ensuring compliance with company standards and local regulatory requirements 
  • Build and maintain external relationships (e.g. clients, contractors, subcontracts) People
  • Supervise and manage staff, ensuring they have both opportunity and capability to grow with the business 


This role would suit someone already at this level or a experinced Contracts Manager looking to take a step up.
