Sector Director
We have an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Management Sector Director to join a leading Facilities management organisation in the East of England covering Cambridgeshire, East Anglia and Buckinghamshire regions.

A senior role as an ambassador for the company across multiple sites, with overall H&S and commercial responsibility for the contract.
Reporting to the Operating Unit Director, the Sector Director will be the senior lead for service delivery, commercial and financial aspect of the contracts, compliance, client relationships and life cycle.
Duties include:
- To lead, direct and motivate the team to enable contribution to the best of their ability and maximise their potential
- Responsible for the management of the service delivery which meets the contract obligations and exceeds the expectations of internal and external customers of the contract
- Ensuring maintenance is carried out in line with budgetary constraints and to agreed service levels and all relevant legislation to deliver statutory compliance
- Ensuring effective working relationships are enhanced with key stakeholders by regularly exceeding the standard of work delivered and coordinating the services activities
- To ensure financial budgets and commercial / SLA obligations are achieved / exceeded
- To celebrate success and drive continuous improvement with the teams, ensuring interface between teams, with other sites, Project Co and Customers at all levels to deliver as one team
- To develop staff and ensure all have been provided with the mandatory and best practice training required to enable them to have the capability to carry out their roles
Qualifications/ Requirements
- The Contract Director will need to be able to demonstrate a strong leadership & delivery background within a similar Facilities Management environment.
- As a senior leader within the Operating Unit, the Contract Director will be expected to act as an example to the team, as such a person of similar experience is required as is a reputation which demonstrates confidence from all levels.
- Experience within the public sector would be an advantage including central government or defence
- Experience within commercial and financial matters
