We are recruiting for experienced Electrical Site Managers to join an established Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) contractor delivering projects across the North West.

  • Newcastle-under-Lyme: A £5m residential development, overseeing electrical installations as part of the wider M&E package.

  • Warrington: An HV/LV electrical infrastructure project. Previous HV experience would be advantageous.

These positions would suit experienced Electrical Site Managers or Electrical Supervisors with a strong background in electrical installations, site coordination and subcontractor management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate electrical installation activities on site.
  • Manage electrical subcontractors, labour and site resources.
  • Ensure works are delivered safely, to specification and in accordance with project programmes.
  • Maintain high standards of health and safety, including RAMS, toolbox talks and site inspections.
  • Monitor progress, identify potential delays and report to the Project Manager
  • Coordinate materials, deliveries and electrical works alongside other trades.
  • Ensure installations comply with relevant electrical regulations, drawings and quality standards.
  • Carry out quality inspections, snagging and progress reporting.
  • Support testing, commissioning and project handover.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Site Manager or Electrical Supervisor within the M&E or construction sector.

  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical building services installations.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • SMSTS or SSSTS qualification.
  • ECS/CSCS Management Card or appropriate site management card.
  • Experience managing electrical subcontractors and site teams.
  • Good understanding of construction programmes, RAMS and site health and safety.
  • Strong communication, organisation and leadership skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.

For the Warrington project, previous HV/LV infrastructure experience would be particularly beneficial.

What's on Offer?

  • Competitive rate of £350 per day CIS.
  • Opportunities across two established M&E projects.
  • Work with an experienced M&E contractor.
  • Potential permanent opportunities for candidates seeking longer-term employment.
