Electrical Site Manager - Hospital LED Replacement Programme

Location: North East England

Rate: Circa £350 per day CIS

Contract: Approximately 12 months

Start: Late October / early November

300 North is recruiting for an Electrical Site Manager to oversee a 12-month LED lighting replacement programme within a live hospital environment, working with Robertson FM.

This is an opportunity for an experienced Site Manager with an electrical contracting background who can coordinate subcontractors, plan works methodically and build strong relationships with hospital staff.

You'll oversee delivery across occupied and decanted wards, ensuring works progress safely and with minimal disruption to patients and clinical services.

The role

  • Manage electrical subcontractors and oversee daily site activities.
  • Coordinate materials, access and the sequencing of works.
  • Liaise with hospital staff, the estates team and client management.
  • Resolve routine electrical technical queries and escalate issues where required.
  • Contribute to RAMS and programme planning.
  • Monitor progress, quality and safe working practices.
  • Coordinate occasional night and weekend works in critical areas, including theatres.

What we're looking for

  • Proven site management experience with a strong electrical bias.
  • A background in electrical or M&E contracting.
  • Experience delivering projects in live hospitals or other critical environments.
  • Strong subcontractor management and organisational skills.
  • A confident communicator with a methodical, considerate approach.
  • SMSTS, black CSCS card and three-day First Aid.
  • Willingness to complete the required enhanced DBS checks.

Experience across both contracting and facilities management would be advantageous.

What's on offer

  • Approximately 12 months of continuous work.
  • Circa £350 per day, subject to agreement.
  • Out-of-hours rates agreed separately.
  • A mobilisation period before the main programme begins.
  • Parking arrangements available at approximately £25 per month, subject to confirmation.

Occasional nights and weekends will be required for specific phases of the programme.
