Assistant Site Manager - Water / MEICA | Severn Trent AMP8 | £40,000-£50,000 + Package
A growing civil engineering and MEICA contractor delivering major projects across the Severn Trent AMP8 framework is looking to recruit an Assistant Site Manager to support the delivery of key water and wastewater projects.
With a substantial pipeline of secured work across the Midlands and ambitious expansion plans over the next two years, this is an excellent opportunity to join a business where you'll develop your career alongside experienced Project and Site Managers.
Your first project will be on a major sewage treatment works before progressing onto future schemes across the West and East Midlands.
The Role
Working alongside the Site Manager and Project Manager, you'll assist with the day-to-day running of site, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with the daily management of site operations
- Supervising subcontractors and direct labour
- Monitoring health, safety and quality standards
- Supporting programme delivery and reporting progress
- Coordinating materials, plant and deliveries
- Liaising with engineers, subcontractors and client representatives
- Maintaining site records and documentation
- Supporting the successful delivery of MEICA installation works
About You
We're looking for ambitious construction professionals with experience working on water or wastewater infrastructure projects who are ready to progress their career.
Ideally you'll have:
- Experience within the water or utilities sector
- Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager, Site Supervisor, General Foreman or similar
- Knowledge of MEICA or civil engineering projects
- SMSTS or SSSTS (or working towards SMSTS)
- CSCS Card
- First Aid at Work (desirable)
- Full UK driving licence
Experience working on AMP frameworks would be advantageous but isn't essential.
