SPV General Manager
- Location: North West
- Salary: Up to £95,000 + Benefits

We are supporting a leading infrastructure investment and asset management organisation in their search for an experienced General Manager to oversee a portfolio of operational healthcare PFI projects in the North West.
This is a key leadership position with responsibility for the overall performance, governance, and commercial success of the Project Companies, ensuring strong relationships with NHS Trusts, investors, and service providers.
The Role
The successful candidate will take ownership of the operational, commercial, and contractual delivery of the PFI agreements, acting as the main point of contact for stakeholders and ensuring that all obligations are met. You will lead on performance oversight, variation management, and lifecycle coordination, while providing assurance to the Board on financial, technical, and compliance matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the operational and commercial management of multiple healthcare PFI contracts.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with NHS Trusts, investors, lenders, and FM providers.
- Oversee performance monitoring, payment mechanisms, and lifecycle delivery.
- Manage contract variations and ensure alignment with financial models.
- Prepare and present reports to the Project Company Boards.
- Ensure compliance with governance frameworks, risk management, and statutory obligations.
- Drive continuous improvement and protect long-term asset value.
About You
- Strong experience in PFI / PPP project management, ideally within healthcare or social infrastructure.
- Excellent understanding of Project Agreements and associated commercial frameworks.
- Skilled in stakeholder management, with the ability to build positive working relationships across multiple organisations.
- Confident managing risk, financial performance, and contractual compliance.
