Are you a proven Site Manager with passive fire protection experience?
300 North are recruiting on behalf of a specialist subcontractor to hire a Site Manager to join their growing team and oversee multiple NHS Trust fire stopping projects across Yorkshire. You'll take full site responsibility for ensuring compliant, safe, and efficient delivery on live hospital environments with full support from the contracts and technical teams.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Leading day-to-day delivery of fire stopping works in live hospital environments.
- Managing trades and subcontractors to ensure safe, clean, and high-quality installations.
- Working closely with Contracts Managers and NHS clients to maintain timelines and compliance.
- Producing and implementing RAMS, toolbox talks, and site audits.
- Ensuring full H&S compliance, site documentation, and coordination of DBS-cleared labour.
- Maintaining positive communication with ward staff, patients, and estates teams.
What We're Looking For:
- 3+ years' experience as a No.1 Site Manager on passive fire protection projects.
- Hands-on knowledge of penetration sealing, fire batts, mastic, collars, wraps, etc.
- Experience working in high-risk or live environments (e.g. NHS, care homes, schools).
- Skilled in health & safety, RAMS, quality checks, and coordinating multi-trade teams.
- A people-focused mindset with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Requirements:
- SMSTS (valid)
- DBS check (can be obtained)
- IPAF, Asbestos Awareness, and Manual Handling (in-date or willing to renew)
- Driving license (essential - van provided)
