Project Manager
Project Manager required for Manchester contracts.
Summary:
- Project Manager
- Location – Manchester
- Salary Up to £60,000 + car allowance + bonus
- PFI contracts
Duties include:
- Scope of work and deliverables with the Pre-construction Team.
- Manage and monitor permits
- Manage costs in order to meet budget.
- Specialist service advisory including consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers required in connection with the programme.
- Manage and monitor the performance of the Professional Team and Contractors.
- Issue progress updates as requested.
- Prepare monthly client progress reports in an agreed format
Qualifications/Experience
- Qualification in Project Manager, Building Construction, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Architecture.
- Ideally have worked within PFI contracts or hospital, healthcare contracts with complex stakeholders
- Project management within construction.
- Understanding of CDM regulations
- Ability to read and understanding blueprints and drawings.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer software.
- Demonstrated knowledge of construction, engineering, and architecture principles.
- Ability to budget, schedule, negotiate, and control costs.
- Understand Contract and subcontract documents, terms, and conditions.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Professional certification-including MCIOB, AMP, RICS, PRINCE II.
- Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines.
