Assistant Sustainability Compliance Officer
Our client is recruiting for an Assistant Sustainability Compliance Officer to be based in their Newcastle office. This is a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
General Overview
To support the Regional Sustainability Team in adhering to PAS2030 installer accreditation standards on our funded retrofit schemes.
In collaboration with the Compliance Officer, this role will be responsible for collating, validating and preparing PAS 2030:2019 compliance paperwork to Clients, Energy Suppliers and Accreditation Bodies on a weekly basis, operating within contractual deadlines to ensure compliance.
Key Accountabilities
- Supporting the production of all necessary paperwork associated with installation of Energy Efficiency measure in line with PAS 2030:2019 process
- Working closely with the Compliance Officer, Retrofit Coordinators, Retrofit Assessor and Retrofit Designer ensuring PAS installation paperwork is provided in line with the main contract programme
- Maintain a wide knowledge and understanding of the sustainability sector and pass this expertise onto the wider team
- Alongside the Compliance Officer, provide PAS2030 advice to regional delivery teams regarding energy efficiency measures
- To ensure that there are zero compliance failures resulting from poor and inaccurate submission information
- To ensure all Strategic Partners contractual deadlines are adhered to
- Support the Compliance Officer in their engagement with key supply chain partners assisting in the effective development and delivery of projects
- Assist with the collation of relevant data and the preparation of reports
- Any other reasonable management request

- Literate in MS Office, in particular Microsoft Excel
- Driving licence
