Description

Role: Refrigeration Engineer - Site based.

Location: Large Education Site - Cambridge

Salary: £42k p/y

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Refrigeration Engineer to join a well-respected company possessing stable contracts with forward thinking employers.

Ideal Experience:


  • Relevant qualifications including F-GAS
  • Experience in installing and servicing air conditioning systems
  • Commercial refrigeration from building cold rooms, repairing small refrigeration systems, ice machines, bottle coolers, multi-deck chillers, walk in fridge work as well as standard splits
  • Must be punctual and have excellent time-keeping skills.
  • Can work alone as well as within a team in line with daily requirements. Importantly report effectively, verbally, and via electronic means.
  • Carry out annual services and scheduled maintenance visits to a high standard in accordance with Health & Safety procedures.
  • Troubleshoot, Diagnose, identify, and rectify faults to equipment and systems of a variety of different manufacturers makes and types of equipment.
  • Identifying parts and materials with suppliers and contacting manufacturers to query technical faults, warranties etc.
  • Attend to maintenance and reactive outs
  • Be an excellent communicator
  • Have a high level of customer service and build rapport with customers whilst representing the company to the best of your
  • Proven experience in a similar Updating service reports and records and on a PDA in an accurate and timely way

  • Air conditioning
  • Ventilation
  • Commercial Catering Appliances
  • Commercial Refrigeration
  • Installation of various kit and commissioning
  • Working on 3phase and single phase circuits
  • Working on control circuits
  • Electrical installations
  • Installing containment
  • Electrical panel concepts
  • Fault finding
  • On-site installation
  • Knowledge of electrical components
