300 North is an established Recruitment Company with its Head Quarters in Headingley. We're looking for an experienced Office Manager or Finance Manager to join us either on a full time or part-time basis. If part-time the hours and days are flexible, but the successful applicant must be able to work on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The role can also offer some working from home options.
You'll be a confident and experienced finance professional, with the ability to work as part of a professional and aspirational team.
You'll have responsibility for managing the weekly and month end process in all things Finance, supporting the Sales team. Reporting into the MD. Experience of working in a Recruitment Consultancy environment would be advantages but certainly not essential.
Must have experience of using Xero accounting software.

Day to day duties and responsibilities:
- Process weekly timesheets, Sales Invoices and Purchase Invoices.
- Set up new contracts and assignments.
- Liaise with the external accountants to co-ordinate and prepare the annual statutory accounts.
- Provide analysis and support to the MD and Senior Management Team.
- Prepare bank reconciliations and liaise with external finance providers. It would be advantages if you have worked with Invoice Finance or Invoice Discount facilities previously.
- Take full responsibility for all internal accounting processes.
- Maintain financial system to ensure accuracy of management information to include management and financial accounts.
- Assist in preparation and consolidation of Budgets working with the Business Units.
- Preparation of VAT returns.
- Cashflow management.
- Credit control.
- Understanding of billing processes for each individual client.
- Maintain process documentation for all Finance tasks.
- Desirable: To prepare and present monthly and quarterly consolidated management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow, with meaningful analysis against budget and updated forecasts, as required in a timely manner and presented to appropriate professional standards.
- General Office Management duties as and when required.
