Compliance Officer

We have an exciting opportunity for a Sustainability Compliance Officer to join a large Facilities Management Organisation working on an Energy and Sustainability contract based in Chesterfield.

  • £26000 plus company car
  • Chesterfield (with travel around Rotherham and Barnsley)
  • Candidates must have a full UK driving licence
  • Facilities Management

The role will involve travelling to allocated sites to collate, validate and prepare PAS 2030:2019 compliance paperwork to Clients, Energy Suppliers and Accreditation Bodies on a weekly basis, operating within contractual deadlines to ensure compliance.

Duties


  • Producing of all necessary paperwork associated with installation of Energy Efficiency measure in line with PAS 2030:2019
  • Maintain a wide knowledge and understanding of the sector and pass this knowledge onto the wider regional team.
  • Provide compliance advice to regional delivery teams regarding energy efficiency measures.
  • To ensure that there are zero compliance failures resulting from poor and inaccurate submission information.
  • To ensure all Strategic Partner contractual deadlines are adhered to.
  • Engage with key supply chain partners to support the effective development and delivery of projects.
  • Assist with the collation of relevant data and the preparation of reports.
  • Any other reasonable management request.

Candidate Requirements/Qualifications


  • Candidates must hold a full valid UK driving licence
  • Previous experience working in compliance in the build environment
  • Experience and knowledge of working to regulated standards in the build environment
  • Good IT skills in MS Office, in particular Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent organisation skills with the ability to review detail quickly and accurately from numerous documents
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines
  • Knowledge of PAS 2030 2019 Standards is desirable but not essential
  • Knowledge of the energy and sustainability sector within the build environment is desirable but not essential
