We have an exciting opportunity for an Interim Head of Projects to work for a leading Facilities Management organisation on their Smart Build contracts You will be responsible for the successful design and delivery of complex projects from handover from business development through to the delivery of customer objectives.

This is a home-based role which also involves travelling to sites nationwide.

Duties of the role

• Responsible for the successful design and delivery of complex projects from through to the delivery of Projects
• Deliver projects across the Smart Buildings business areas.
• Supporting the Business Development team with solution design where applicable
• Project implementation, delivery, documentation, supply chain, handover management.
• Project stakeholder management
• Responsibility for Health & Safety on relevant projects.
• Implementation & compliance with all statutory procedures.
• Financial management & reporting.
• Management of key supply chain relationships required in the delivery of such projects

Candidate Requirements

• Preferably experience operating in project management roles within the BMS / Controls Building services industry or M&E
• Demonstrate experience in managing projects to a value of £1m +
• Demonstrate experience of managing Health & Safety compliance
• Demonstrate IT literacy capability for software applications such as AUTOCAD, Intellect (accounts) plus full literacy with Microsoft Office suite. Incl. MS Project
• Demonstrate experience of managing/supporting/coaching a team of people to deliver quality projects to stakeholders.
