Our client is looking for a Technical Services Manager to join their team in Fife. You will be accountable for day today matters to the site Account Manager. The position provides direction to a team of multi-skilled technicians in the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance activities, minor works and projects for the facility

The Role

• Manage and monitor PPM's in line with contract SLA's.
• Assist with prioritisation of works to manage red/amber job reports.
• Act as a point of contact/liaison with HD team.
• Raise and approve purchase orders.
• Liaison and co-ordination of sub-contractor visits to ensure contractual compliance.
• Management and monitoring of reactive works.
• Particiapte in Audits , review audit reports and produce action plans for resolution of audit findings.
• You will manage 23 frontline staff, seven of whom are mechanical technicians.

Qualifications & Experience

• A thorough working knowledge and understanding of general Building Fabric activities, HVAC systems (including biomass boilers and CHP) and other specialist systems including Medical Gas Pipeline Systems and Renal Dialysis Plant are required to enable the job holder to not only maintain but also to competently investigate, diagnose and implement routine repairs to these systems
• Technical qualification to minimum of HNC (or equivalent) level
• Have an adequate knowledge and experience of all the relevant Scottish Hospital Technical Memoranda (SHTM) and to work within Permit to Work procedures as appropriate and in particular for SHTM 02-01, SHTM 03-01, SHTM 04-01, L8, Pressure Systems Regulations 2000.
• Facilities Management and PFI Contractual knowledge
• IOSH Managing Safely
• Good commercial and financial awareness.
