Facilities Management Account Manager

We are currently recruiting for a Facilities Management  Account Manager to cover a Facilities Management contract  in North West London comprising of several buildings.

As a Facilities Account Manager you will manage a technical team of mechanical and electrical engineers who carry out  PPM's and reactive maintenance  across the M+E assets of commercial properties 

You will manage the P+L for the contract (circa £1.4 million) and be responsible for hitting contract KPI's, managing WIP and reporting performance and figures to the senior management team. You will also be responsible for managing the engineers and apprentices on the contract and coaching the team to provide an exceptional mobile engineering service to the customer.

Duties of the role include:


  • Managing a large static site on a facilities management contract with ppm and reactive maintenance, Mechanical & Electrical (M&E)  including assets in several buildings on the site.
  • Overseeing a team  of engineers, apprentices and supervisor, coaching and upskilling them. Hiring and expanding the team as required.
  • Responsibility for the P+L of the FM contract and associated reporting.
  • Ensuring the KPI's for the contract are met and that the customer is satisfied with the service they are receiving.
  • Working with specialist teams internally (A/C and combustion) as well as subcontractors to provide specialist support to the customer.

Qualifications/Requirements

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:


  • Experience of managing hard services Facilities Management contracts with a P+L value of £1m +
  • Mechanical or Electrical qualifications
  • Strong Technical background
  • Experience of managing ppm and reactive works on a facilities management contract
  • Commercial acumen
  • Great people skills, able to build strong relationships with customers.
