Role: Small Works Mechanical Manager
Salary: £40- £45k per annum.
Location: Selby
The package: Company Pension, Vehicle or vehicle allowance
23 Days Holiday plus bank holidays
The Role
We are working with an expanding M&E contracting organisation who are looking for a small works Mechanical manager to oversee installations up £500k most projects sit between £50- £250k.
You will be working closely with the various end clients.
The company self deliver most of the works and use specialist sub contractors and price work sub contractors on packages.
You will be responsible for estimating, delivering and handing over up 3 or 4 projects at a time.
You will directly to the head of the department.
Projects are all local to North Yorkshire, West Yorkshire & East Yorkshire
Sectors include: retail, education, office blocks and general commercial building services. There are plenty of frame work agreements and long standing relationships.
The company is always open to new sectors that fit their business model.
Skills, Attributes and Qualifications:
- HNC or HND in Building Services of benefit
- Time served mechanical background
- Ability to use estimating software
- Strong time management skills
- Strong people skills
- Strong commercial skills & client management
The role will suit somebody who is hungry to progress with an ever expanding order book of strong and stable clients.
