We recruiting on behalf of a large Facilities Management Provider for a Minor Works Manager to work on a large PFI contract in Manchester.
- Monor Works Manager
- Salary: £30-£35k plus car/ car allowance
- Manchester
- 26 Days Holiday plus bank holidays
- PFI Contract
Duties Include:
- You will be required to oversee minor projects.
- Duties will include
- Responsibility for high-risk activities-
- Risk assessment and method statements
- monitor and supervise pieces of work
- subcontractor audits.
- Watch subbies on site and ensure they're operating to specs & following H&S procedures.
- Good health and safety knowledge, managing subbies on site.
- Managing supply chain.
Skills, Attributes and Qualifications:
- NEBOSH qualification
- Background in the build environment
- Experience managing teams of subcontractors
- Candidates must have Enhanced DBS Less than 2 years
- Strong time management skills
- Strong people skills
- Strong commercial skills
