Compliance Manager  

6 month fixed term 

We are recruiting for a Compliance Manager for 6-month fixed term contract to work for a leading Facilities Manager based in Manchester to manage the contractual compliance on a PFI contract.

The role will most likely have the opportunity to be permanent following a restructure after the 6 months.

As the Compliance Support Manager, you will be responsible for managing the Contractual and Corporate compliance on the PFI contract ensuring penalties are actively avoided and financial targets are met to ensure professional services are delivered to the client at all times.

Duties of the role


  • Ensure that financial targets are met for each budget year through mitigation of risk against financial penalties
  • Mitigating contractual risk and ensuring compliance against all service specifications and contract deliverables.
  • Contribute to the successful management of all the commercial elements of the contract
  • Working closely with the wider Lifecycle teams to provide sufficient reporting and information to the SPV and NHS Clients.
  • Provide leadership in contractual compliance for the management team
  • Ensure Internal compliance with Management reports and systems including delivery of the Sustainability and Health and Safety reporting and planning.
  • Management of the Impacts and Aspects registers, Risk Registers and SHEQ Plans.
  • Ensure adherence to all Statutory Standards and Regulations and Department of Health requirements, as per the FM Agreement.

Candidate Requirements


  • PFI Experience is essential
  • Thorough understanding of contractual compliance
  • Experience working for or closely with SPV
  • Professional Facilities/ Business Management qualification
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills
