Role: Additional Works Manager
Salary: £35- £40k per annum.
Location: Manchester
The package: Company Pension, Vehicle or vehicle allowance
26 Days Holiday plus bank holidays
The Role
We are working with a large FM provider who are looking for an Additional Works Manager to cover a PFI contract.
You will be working closely with the end client.
Duties Include:
- You will be required to oversee minor projects.
- Duties will include
- Responsibility for high-risk activities-
- Risk assessment and method statements
- monitor and supervise pieces of work
- subcontractor audits.
- Watch subbies on site and ensure they're operating to specs & following H&S procedures.
- Good health and safety knowledge, managing subbies on site.
- Managing supply chain.
Assets in the contract include : Schools, Public buildings and Offices.
Skills, Attributes and Qualifications:
- NEBOSH
- Strong sub contract
- Strong time management skills
- Strong people skills
- Strong commercial skills
The role will suit somebody who is hungry to progress with a stable and long term contract.
