Description

Graduate Asset Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Asset Manager

Providing the Faciliies  management team with  structured asset lifecycle planning and maintenance strategies through the creation and the development of robust systems across a large Facilities management contract.

Duties


  • Assist in development, update and maintain an accurate asset Lifecycle Plan for customers in line with CIBSE guidelines.
  • Work with the CAFM Support team to create an asset reporting function, renewal and enhanced maintenance strategies.
  • Assist the CAFM (Computer Aid to Facilities Management) Support team in improving asset systems and processes to build and improve customer and user CAFM experience.
  • Provide assistance in use and Asset management of Mobiess data gathering system, to aid in reporting and surveying of assets throughout the site.
  • Working with other teams to draft reports to the client on Forward Works and Lifecycle issues.
  • Assist in the maintenance and update the Maximo system to ensure accurate data is available to the Core Team and Reporting Manager.
  • Assist in Level 2, 3 and 4 asset surveys across all 3 sites.
  • Ensure all activities are delivered within agreed budgets.

Qualifications/Requirements


  • Good grades in GCSE/A levels/BTEC HND or higher.
  • An industry recognised qualification in engineering, building services, management or facilities. management (ILM, HNC, HND or equivalent vocational qualification) is desirable.
  • Understanding of Health and Safety Regulation.
  • Understanding of SFG20 or other Maintenance Task Schedules.
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Packages.
  • Mechanical and electrical asset understanding.
  • Awareness of replacement asset costing and lifecycles.
  • Understanding of the management of asset data bases and CAFM Systems.
  • Driving License.
  • Good communication, numeracy and presentation skills.
  • Good written communication skills including report writing.
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Project, Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI.
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively as part of a wider team.
  • An eye for detail.
