- Salary £17k per annum based on 37.5 hour per week
- 7.30am - 3.30pm

My client is recruiting for a Grounds Maintenance Assistant to work a mobile role, predominantly around the Leeds area & kirklees.
Travelling in a company van, you will be responsible for maintaining the grounds and gardens of several commercial premises looking after the lawns and flower beds. A licence with trailer cover would be beneficial
The duties of the role are:
- Working across multiple sites in a mobile capacity
- Manage the grounds, lawn cutting, weeding and litter picking.
- Working with power tools and gardening machines and plant as required
- Ensuring the premises are maintained according to good Health and Safety best practices.
- Previous experience of handyman/groundsman work associated with the role
- Liaising with external contractors
- Chemical and weed control experience
- Ensure that all sites visited are left in a clean and tidy state
- Working with the on-site customer to provide excellent customer service.
The ideal candidate:
- Should have previous groundsman experience.
- Must have a Driving License with a trailer licence
- Spraying experience is advantageous
