Maintenance Joiner
We are recruiting on behalf of a large Facilities Management Organisation for a Maintenance Joiner or a Maintenance Carpenter to work on a large and prestigious Facilities Management Contract in

- Thetford, East Anglia
- £25000 plus vehicle and fuel card
- Full time Permanent role
- Multiskilled building fabric repair and maintenance
- Facilities Management Contract
As the maintenance Joiner you will be responsible for reactive repairs and maintenance on building services through commercial and residential dorm buildings including basic plumbing and carpentry work.
Duties
- Preparing buildings for decoration by removing door furniture
- Door, floor and ceiling repairs
- Maintenance checks on all building services fabric items
- Minor plumbing checks and repairs on sinks and taps
- Painting touch up and making good
- Liaising with other trades for building change of occupancy works
- Clear communication of the company vision and objectives ensuring the implementation of new procedures
- Promote and drive the company values
Qualifications or Required Experience:
- Previous experience in joinery or Carpentry within maintenance and repair
- Building fabric multi skilled
- Plumbing experience
- In depth knowledge of fabric repairs
- Friendly personality with excellent interpersonal skills
- Solid understanding of health and safety rules and legislation
- Good communication skills
- Driving licence is required
