We have a fantastic and rare opportunity for an Operations Maintenance Manager to work on an Education Facilities Management contract based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. This is a full-time permanent role and would be suited to an individual who values the flexibility of a good work life balance.

As the Operations Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for delivering a professional mechanical and electrical building services maintenance and minor works service in relation to planned maintenance, alteration, refurbishment and new works ensuring that all work is carried out effectively and efficiently within available resources.
Duties
- Deliver the reactive maintenance operation of the building services function
- Implementing the service delivery strategy in a way which optimises the use of internal and external resource
- Exercising budgetary control to achieve performance and quality targets.
- The offering of professional advice in respect of all building services reactive maintenance issues
- Assist in ensuring compliance with all building services maintenance related statutory responsibilities and maintain records as required.
- Update the Asset Management
- Ensure the building services reactive maintenance is appropriately managed and delivered within agreed time, cost and quality parameters.
- Contributing to the overall delivery of maintenance and minor works programmes by identifying and implementing works schemes.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Applicants must hold a minimum of a Higher National Certificate or Higher National Diploma (HNC/HND)
- Mechanical Qualification
- Experience of managing the mechanical services maintenance or hard facilities management services in a large and complex Estate
- Experience in project management
- A strong working knowledge and experience of using Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) or Maintenance Management Systems
