Description

Mobilisation Manager, South/South West 

We are recruiting for a Mobilisation Manager for a leading Facilities Management Organisation to work on PFI Facilities Management Contracts in the South and South West regions

This is an immediate vacancy and permenent opportunity

As the mobilisation Manager you will be working on a range of large, complex operational PFI contracts working alongside a number of key business functions

Duties


  • Leading on the co-ordination and implementation of supply of equipment, subcontractor’s engagement, TUPE and processes.
  • Working closely with the Regional Operations Managers and Commercial Manager to ensure all key project deliverables are in place for service commencement.
  • Leading new contract mobilisations, feeding into client discussions setting up key contracts.
  • Liaising with other Group Central Services to ensure appropriate mobilisation delivery of IT, HR, TUPE and Procurement.
  • Identifying areas of mobilisation risk, maintaining risk registers and offering support to the contract teams post mobilisation.
  • Performing other tasks in between mobilisations as directed, involving project management of issues or works for other ‘steady state’ projects as required
  • Been flexible with work delivery methods and national travel to new projects around the country as required.
  • Assisting in ensuring all stakeholders understand and adhere to contractual obligations and reporting requirements.
  • Data management and administration of transferring information relevant to new projects

Qualifications/Requirements


  • Prior relevant experience mobilising new Facilities Management operational contracts
  • Firm understanding of PFI contracts and structure with a value of between £1 - 5million P.A preferably within PFI/PPP education Facilities management contracts
  • Project management experience from inception / planning, through to completion and handover
  • Able to work autonomously in a National role
