Description

Role: Senior Site Manager

Location: Harrow, Hertford & Enfield

Contract: Full-time, Permanent, Monday to Friday.

Salary/Package: £55-£65,000 per annum plus £5200 car allowance

The role:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Site Manager to take responsibility for delivering a range of occupied housing projects across North London and Hertfordshire. The work will focus on refurbishment, retrofit, cladding and decarbonisation schemes, with a strong emphasis on quality, safety and resident satisfaction.

 

Duties:


  • Lead day-to-day site delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and to agreed standards

     

  • Manage programmes, monitor progress and resolve issues to keep milestones on track

     

  • Supervise and support site teams, subcontractors and resident liaison staff, maintaining high standards of performance and safety

     

  • Oversee compliance with Health & Safety and quality procedures, including inspections, audits and toolbox talks

     

  • Act as the key point of contact for residents, clients and internal stakeholders, maintaining clear communication throughout the project

     

  • Manage site logistics, welfare and documentation, ensuring everything is in place for efficient delivery

     


What We're Looking For


  • Proven track record as a Site Manager within housing refurbishment, retrofit or cladding projects (occupied housing experience is essential)

     

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior staff

     

  • In-depth knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and compliance processes within housing projects

     

  • Confident in reading drawings, programmes and using MS Office (MS Project desirable)

     

  • Relevant qualifications: SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, full UK driving licence (MCIOB or additional H&S qualifications an advantage)
