Site Manager - Education Projects (North West)
Location: North West (multiple school sites)
Type: Permanent (PAYE - Cards In)
Salary: £45,000 + Car or Allowance
Start Date: September 2025 (TBC)
The Opportunity:
We're looking for a hands-on, experienced Site Manager to oversee education-based refurbishment and construction works across a portfolio of schools in the North West, with contracts totalling £7 million.
This is a permanent position offering long-term security, a strong pipeline of work, and the chance to join a well-established contractor with a great reputation for quality and delivery.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Managing day-to-day site operations across multiple school projects in the North West
- Leading subcontractors to ensure safe, timely, and high-quality delivery
- Rolling up your sleeves and getting stuck in - this is an 80/20 split between management and hands-on work
- Liaising with stakeholders and ensuring compliance with health & safety and safeguarding requirements
- Conducting toolbox talks, site inductions, and RAMS reviews
What You'll Need:
- SMSTS
- First Aid at Work
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to complete one)
- Strong joinery/carpentry background
- Comfortable being tool-ready when needed
- Proven track record delivering education or similar public sector refurbishment works
