PFI Asset Manager

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced PFI Asset Manager to oversee the delivery and performance of a PFI healthcare contract. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in managing long-term PFI and PPP contracts who is ready to take on new challenges in the healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Contract Performance and Compliance:
    Oversee the day-to-day management of PFI contracts across healthcare facilities, ensuring compliance with contract terms and performance standards.
  • Stakeholder Relationship Management:
    Build and maintain strong relationships with FM providers and internal stakeholders, fostering effective collaboration and communication.
  • Monitoring and Reporting:
    Monitor KPIs, service delivery, lifecycle works, and overall contract obligations, ensuring consistent performance.
  • Governance and Risk Management:
    Lead reporting, governance, risk management, and issue resolution processes, ensuring issues are escalated and addressed promptly.
  • Budget Management and Commercial Outcomes:
    Manage budgets, ensuring financial targets are met while supporting the delivery of contractual and commercial outcomes.
  • Quality Assurance:
    Ensure that service providers meet agreed standards, taking action when required to address any performance issues.

What We’re Looking For:


  • Proven experience managing PFI contracts, ideally in healthcare or education sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of contract compliance, performance reporting, and stakeholder management.


  • Exceptional communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities effectively.
  • Strong commercial understanding, with experience in managing budgets and service provider performance.
  • A technical background or a solid understanding of technical requirements and asset management is desirable.
