Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Account Director to join our team in the North West. This leadership role involves overseeing service delivery, commercial management, and client relationship management for a complex PFI contract. The successful candidate will be a strategic leader with experience in managing demanding contracts, ideally with a strong background in PFI, healthcare, SPV, or technical sectors.
Position: Account Director
Salary: £90,000 + £6,000 car allowance + bonus
Location: North West
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Provide clear direction and motivation to the contract team, ensuring high performance and accountability.
- Service Delivery: Oversee service delivery across the contract to ensure it consistently meets or exceeds customer expectations and service levels.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring effective coordination of hard services across multiple sites.
- Business Strategy: Support the Facilities Operations Director in the management, growth, and budget preparation of the contract, aligning strategies with organisational goals.
- Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement, focusing on team development and operational excellence.
- Compliance & Safety: Maintain a strong health and safety culture, ensuring all sites operate in compliance with internal procedures and industry standards.
- Financial Management: Oversee budget management, ensuring financial compliance and identifying opportunities for profit improvement.
- Client Relationships: Strengthen and grow client relationships, leveraging service excellence to drive business development and future opportunities.
Who We're Looking For:
- A strong leader with significant experience in managing complex contracts, ideally within PFI, healthcare, SPV, or technical fields.
- Excellent commercial acumen with a track record in contract finance management (including P&L and WIP).
- Proven experience in managing demanding, commercial contracts with aggressive targets and high expectations.
- Strong background in client relationship management and the ability to foster long-term partnerships.
- Ability to lead diverse teams, motivate staff, and ensure their development.
- Experience in health and safety compliance and managing operational risks effectively.
- Financially savvy, with the ability to manage budgets, drive profit improvement, and ensure financial compliance.
