Location: South Yorkshire (Hybrid working available)

Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 (DOE)

We're working with a well-established and growing Passive Fire Protection contractor based in South Yorkshire, delivering specialist fire stopping, fire door, and compartmentation projects across the UK.

They are now seeking an experienced Estimator with a background in passive fire to join their commercial team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work on meaningful compliance projects across healthcare, education, local authority, and commercial sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Producing detailed estimates and pricing for fire stopping, fire doors, and associated passive fire works
• Reviewing drawings, specifications, and client requirements to build accurate costings
• Managing tender enquiries, supply chain pricing, and supporting bid submissions
• Liaising with clients, surveyors, and project managers to understand scope and variations
• Supporting handover into project delivery teams

What We're Looking For

• Experience as an Estimator within passive fire protection or related specialist subcontracting (e.g., drylining, joinery, M&E)
• Knowledge of FIRAS/BM TRADA-type works, fire doors, or fire stopping systems
• Comfortable working with drawings and estimating software/Excel
• Strong commercial awareness and accuracy under pressure
• A proactive and team-driven attitude
