Role: Cleaning Manager (Full Time)
Location: Hull
Salary: £28,000 to £32,000
We are seeking a highly motivated Cleaning Manager to work with our client within their school contract in Hull. The Cleaning Manager will manage the service delivery of soft services and the onsite team's performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage cleaning services across 5 school sites and provide support to catering services as required, ensuring compliance with contractual KPIs.
- Supervise cleaning staff and supervisors, manage training compliance, duty rotas, and cover arrangements for absences.
- Coordinate with the Soft Services Manager for staffing needs, such as overtime, leave, and absence coverage; support catering teams when necessary.
- Oversee quality control, audits, and compliance with waste management, health and safety, and equipment maintenance procedures.
- Maintain budget control by managing stock, materials, and labour within allocated budgets; ensure accurate and timely documentation.
- Support site teams, assist with contractual compliance, and maintain adherence to policies, procedures, and health and safety standards.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of Food Safety and Health & Safety standards
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Satisfactory DBS clearance at enhanced level
