Property Maintenance Surveyor
We have an exciting opportunity for a Building Surveyor to work on a Facilities Management contract in Surrey. The details of the role are:
- Property Maintenance Surveyor
- Facilities Management contract
- £37,000 - £40,000
- Building Surveyor
- Full time/ Perm role
The role will involve:
As the Building maintenance Surveyor you will be responsible for managing a small team accountable for the day to day Management of social housing contracts and provide the main surveying resource for the Asset Management Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Arrange appointments with customers for the undertaking of Stock Condition Surveys.
- Carry out Stock Condition Surveys
- Inspect building deficiencies and put forward proposals for remedial works, developing works specifications where necessary.
- Inspect the completed maintenance works carried out by contractors, ensuring it is executed in a timely manner and to an acceptable quality standard
- Inspect property damage in situations where insurance claims may follow
- Carry out inspections of upcoming void properties to identify any resident rechargeable repairs.
- Carry out the inspection of new void properties and develop the specification of works required.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Qualification in Building Surveying or a construction related subject
- Has a CSCS card
- Experience of working with social housing
- Computer literate, with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
- Has current driving licence and own vehicle
