Senior HR Advisor, Wakefield
Leading UK company is searching for an experienced Senior HR Advisor to join one of their teams in West Yorkshire on a temporary contract ASAP.
This is a temporary contract until they appoint a permanent person. The successful candidate will be invited to apply for the permanent position if interested.

- Based in Wakefield covering multiple sites in West Yorkshire
- 35k equivalent salary (£150 indicative daily rates)
- Must be CIPD qualified or have significant experience of general HR matters.
- Must be available to start in March 2019
General Overview
- As a Senior HR Advisor, you must be experienced in dealing with Pension queries and Recruitment plus general HR matters
Key Responsibilities
- Provide coaching to the management team in managing their people
- Provide training, guidance and support to line managers on HR policies and procedures to lead the contract into business as usual
- Engage with the wider HR Operations team to ensure consistency and compliance in terms of people management on the contract
- Support managers in establishing a performance management approach
- Engaging with the Functional Specialists to support the business in terms of HR Shared Services, Payroll, Pensions and Employee Engagement Qualifications or experience
- Preferably educated to degree level/HND or equivalent.
- CIPD qualified or equivalent experience
- Up to date knowledge of employment law and best practice in HR.
- Articulate in both written and verbal communication.
- Computer literate.
- Ability to work on own initiative and highly results driven
