Role: M&E Planner

Location: Manchester

Salary: £60-£65k per annum

Our client an M&E contractor require an M&E Planner, to help deliver project planning and scheduling.

A strong M&E background will help in the successful coordination and delivery of mechanical and electrical works on live projects.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with the project team to develop and maintain detailed M&E project plans and schedules.

- Conduct thorough analysis and simulations to ensure the feasibility and efficiency of mechanical and electrical systems.

- Prepare progress reports.

- Monitor and control project progress, identifying potential delays and proposing effective solutions.

- Work closely with stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and contractors, to ensure smooth project execution.

- Participate in planning meetings and provide accurate updates on the status of M&E activities.

- Assist in the coordination of resources and materials required for the timely completion of projects.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in M&E planning software and best practices. Requirements:

Qualifications & Attributes:

HNC/HND or Degree in Building services engineering

- Proven experience as an M&E Planner, preferably within construction projects.

- Strong knowledge of relevant softwares

- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

- Effective communication skills.

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
