- Role: Fabric Engineer – Site based.
Location: Large Education Site – Cambridge
Salary: £33,000 p/y

Duties:
The primary purpose of these roles is to carry out both planned and reactive maintenance on a wide variety of Fabric and limited Engineering Assets, ensuring all activities are completed in a safe and timely manner.
- Inspect/repair floor, walls, ceilings and roofs, free standing and fitted furniture, drainage and gully systems, luminaries, doors (Inc. Fire Doors), windows and associated furniture, unblock toilets and sinks.
- Painting, re-decorating and hanging of pictures/signed/notices.
- Assist engineering staff in a wide range of duties as required.
- General site services; to include, sweeping and tidying.
- Carry out Ad-Hoc activities supporting EQUANS and Client team including Moves/Changes
- Ensure that suitable consumables are available to carry out both maintenance and reactive works.
- Ensure that all relevant paperwork/CAFM is completed regarding planned and reactive activities.
- Supervising and monitoring of sub-contractors works whilst they are on site carrying out associated Fabric tasks.
- Respond in a timely manner to verbal and written requests from the customer.
- Support the Helpdesk as required when reporting or updating planned and reactive activities.
- To gain Technical Appointments as required e.g., LVCP and Water Hygiene CP to permit Lamp changing and L8 activities e.g., tap flushing.
