Facilities Operations Manager
We are looking for an immediately available Facilities Operations Manager to join a facilities maintenance team in the North West, Manchester
This is a temporary position for 18 months contract but due to company growth there could be future potential for perm or extension
Summary:
- Operations Manager 18 month fixed term cntract ( mat leave)
- Must be available to start immediately. We cannot unfortunately consider anyone on a months or more notice period

As an Operations Manager your responsibilities will include:
- Oversee the operational delivery of hard services facilities management contracts including commercial mobile engineering contracts
- Provide support and direction to a small contract and facilities management team
- Working effectively with a central helpdesk team to ensure work is running in line with the programme, that KPI's are met and that we are taking measures to improve service delivery in line with the KPI's
- Oversee the compilation of performance reports
- Oversee quotation works to bring new buildings on line and ensure all service lines are captured
- Provide advice and guidance to clients on facilities issues
- Lead the development of our FM systems and processes.
- Have a good understanding of health and safety legislation and other regulations relating to facilities maintenance. You'll also ideally be comfortable with SFG-20.
- Build great relationships with all colleagues and customers
Qualifications/requirements
- Must be available to start immediately We cannot unfortunately consider anyone on a months or more notice period
- Someone with managerial experience in FM, who has a strong grasp of FM engineering services, particularly in relation to mobile engineering ooperations management
- Qualified to IWFM Level 5 or equivalent (desirable)
- Highly organised, has meticulous attention to detail and is passionate about quality
- Someone who is comfortable with a range of CAFM systems and has experience of leading teams through change programmes.
- A confident communicator who likes to work collaboratively & is comfortable building relationships with a range of stakeholders
- Someone who is good at problem solving and taking the initiative to resolve issues quickly
