Head of Operations

We are recruiting for a Head of Operations in the South to lead Total Facilities Management PFI contacts nationwide ensuring excellent service delivery managing partnership with the clients and stakeholders within complex and challenging environments

The role will deliver a broad range of Facilities Management expertise as well as managing and supporting Regional Operations Managers and teams.

The role will take responsibility for the national delivery of operational day-to-day Total FM services across the projectss including hard & soft services

 

Responsibilities Include:


  • Ensure the services delivery maximises the asset and contract potential.
  • Minimising penalty deductions.
  • Manage commercial contract matters to minimise the risk, ensuring budget targets are exceeded, including benchmarking, local dispute resolution etc.
  • Mange projects in accordance with H&S best practice
  • Provide overall leadership to the projects including line for Regional Operations Managers
  • Work in collaboration with the SPV's and Authorities to develop and implement FM initiatives
  • Manage P&L accounts for FM services, variations and lifecycle replacement
  • Ensure a robust asset management system is in place
  • Ensure full compliance with legislation
  • Mobilisation of new contracts
  • Risk management#
  • Leading on all operational matters

Qualifications/Requirements


  • Over 5 years Facilities Management experience within a challenging environment is essential, preferably within the PFI Public Sector
  • Over 3 years' experience of leading a Senior FM operational team
  • Recognised relevant qualification in FM / Engineering / Construction / Soft Services.
  • Experience of managing multiple PFI contracts with over £1m turnover each.
  • Management of FM direct/outsourced service delivery
